Stanley Common Driving School

I charge a standard 46 for a 2 hour lesson. The standard rate is 24 per hour many learners opt for a double lesson costing 46.
Help is given on obtaining training aids to pass your theory test.
I also deal with booking your driving tests both theory and practical.
Most learners have from one to four hours training a week however I do run other courses.

Intensive Courses

Providing the learner has passed the theory test and gives me plenty of notice 4 to 6 hours tuition per day can be given in the days running into a test.
There are no set hours for the intensive course (some learners may have already some driving experience). I will assess the learner well before the course and give them a realistic estimate of the total cost.

Semi Intensive Courses

As above but 2 hours a day running into a test. Some learners find a semi intensive course favourable as they can balance work and family commitments. Once again I will assess the number of hours necessary in advance.

Pass Plus

This 6 hour course is offered to any newly qualified driver, up to a year after passing your practical test. The course consists of 6 specially designed training sessions such as driving at night and on motorways. Most motor insurers offer discounted rates for those who under take the Pass Plus course. The full course costs £150.

Motorway Lessons

It is recommended that all newly qualified drivers have some training in motorway driving. I charge a standard 46 for a 2 hour lesson.

Refresher Courses

If you passed your test sometime ago and haven’t driven since it is recommended you have some training before you start again. I charge 46 for a 2 hour lesson.
